CONVEYOR BELTS

ABOUT THEM

Conveyor belts are usually endless belts used to convey products and substances of different kinds on both horizontal and inclined planes. Depending on the product to be conveyed or the task they are to perform, conveyor belts can be made of different materials. For light conveying uses, conveyor belts are mostly made of polyurethane also known as TPU, polyvinyl chloride also known as PVC, and silicone. The topside of the conveyor belts is in contact with the product, while the underside is in contact with drive and idler pulleys as well as general carpentry. PR Rubino, which has always been involved in the field of conveyor belts, has in recent years developed a line of synchronous conveyor belts that are the result of constant research and development.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Conveyor belts are used in every production line that employs automatic machines. Conveyor belts can also be used in the service of robots for product picking operations. From the research and development of PR Rubino, conveyor belts capable of running on pulleys of small diameters have emerged over the years to offer high performance at reduced energy costs.

EQUIPMENT OF CONVEYOR BELTS

Conveyor belts can be customized with a variety of components, accessories, and processing. Openable joints allow quick assembly and disassembly of conveyor belts, reducing maintenance time. Guiding profiles allow conveyor belts to be centered, preventing derailment. Cleats and sidewalls can be applied to the conveyor belts to ensure proper transport of the product under all circumstances. Conveyor belts can be drilled or engraved.
